( she is glad to feel him relax under her touch and even more so when he smiles back at her. squeezing his hand, she smiles more before moving to lead him toward the bed and only letting when she moves to start getting comfortable. )

M'eudail? ( saoirse repeats, as she tries not to chuckle too much. instead sits down on her bed, drawing her knees up to her chest and giving him another happy smile. ) Darling, sweetheart... a term of affection we have.

It's wasn't so bad. ( it was bad enough though... ) That's correct. Some also call it the "common" tongue or King's tongue. It was invented by the dwarves some Ages ago.

You're rather cute. I can't be mean to you. ( a saddened sigh as if this is such a heavy cross she must bear. )

I suppose we are lucky in that regard. Most other countries and the other races have their own languages aside from the Free Marches and Ferelden though our accents to differ from one another.

Because obviously they are lacking both a good eye and taste. ( is she kidding? probably, probably not but she is smiling as she stretches her legs out and yawns. )

Well... there were the early human tribes which people like the Avvar and Chasind come from. I'm not to so familiar with human history though. ( she scrunches her nose. ) And then much of the Free Marches were once under Tevinter control so I imagine most here spoke Tevene or some version of it.
